Restoring an Option

Hello:

I am trying to restore an option for when a file opens. There is a check
box allowing the option to "Do Not Show This Again." Can you tell me if
going to Folder Options and resetting all options to the "Default" will work
or "Restore previous windows folder at logon" will work?

Open My Computer | Tools | Folder Options | File Types. Scroll to the
file type in question, click Advanced, then "Confirm open after download".
