I have Outlook 2000

When trying to restore my backed up .pst files I get an
error message
'Properties for this information service must be defined
prior to use' and
'File access denied. You don't have permission rquired to
access file'

How can I restore these .pst files?
How do I backup in the future to avoid this problem?

Thanks

First of all, use the File->Open method to return your .pst file to the
active Outlook profile. Second, copy the .pst file to the hard drive from
the CD, then right click, select properties, and remove the check mark from
the read-only box.
