my 'system restore points' that are cretaed either
manually or by the system. Thius happens approx every 24
hours.

the last error meassage fron event viewer was as below.
'The system restore filter encountered the enexpected
error0xC0000034' while processing the file access.cpl on
the volume Harddisk colume 1. it has stopped monitoring
the volume.

The file appears to be irrelvant as it could bne any file .
