Restore

I'm running XP Pro with SP2.
100gb free H/D space.
The restore process refuses to restore to earlier points.
Check points or specific ones.
Why should this be?
I am experiencing problems running FS9, could it be a file corruption problem?

Why were you trying to restore?

Perhaps whatever made you need to restore did enough damage to render
System Restore useless.

It looks as if you'll have to perform a repair installation, but you
might be able to use the System File Checker to replace corrupt files.

Hi,

The majority of the time this is caused by a corrupt restore point.
Turning System Restore off then on again will purges all existing
restore points, and creates one new one.

There are also other possibilities that can cause this to happen. The
