Nicola

When I try and restore my pc to an earlier date, it goes
through all the motions and when it comes back on, it
says that it was unsuccessful, and that the pc can not be
restored. Can anyone help, I really need to restore it!

I had the same problem, it was *very* annoying!!
Restore points created after that point worked fine.

I said:
Restore points created ___after___ that point worked fine.
(But none before it though...)
Why don't you see if you can make one right now and then try to restore to
it.
At least that way if you cock things up even more you'll have somewhere to
go back to!
Sorry I can't help more. Good luck!

went to use restore and the calendar had no previous
points highlighted. Now if I create a restore point it's
gone after I reboot. I can't store any points now. Why??
Who knows? No one seems to have an answer except format
and reinstall. Yah right! Any ideas?>>

Hi Kurt,

If you ever get an answer for this please let me know.
I have experienced this problem with XP for quite some time.

Thanks

Jim
