restore points

I was just wondering if any one of you know about restore
points.. I went to restore my system the other day and
the dates were darkened where restore points should of
been but everyone of them told me that nothing changed on
my machine as there was no restore information avaiable.
Do you know why my machine would not be saving these
points..
I have it on full (max) for the amount of space it can
use.I thought I had read once where others where having
this problem but I cant seem to find it now..
any information would be helpful..

Your WinXP makes a backup/save of your system every time

you turn it off. Restore points have to be created and
given a name. You can create restore points whenever you
want and if enough space is provided will keep them on
file for up to 90 days. Go to: Start > AllPrograms >
Accessories > System Tools > System Restore, there you
can create a restore point or restore to a previous date.
