I've attempted to use a Restore Point to fix a glitch in my pc put in by a
Live Update from Norton today. I started with yesterdays and have gone back
2 weeks and I keep getting message that "Restore was Incomplete, try another
Point"
Any help or suggestions?

Unfortunately, System Restore is not the most reliable thing in the world.
You likely have a corrupt restoration point and the ONLY known (at least by
me) way to fix this is:

(This, of course, will erase any previous restore point you have.)

- Turn off System Restore.

- Reboot.
- Turn on System Restore.

- Make a Manual Restoration Point.

Hi Shenan,

In support of your comment about SR not being too reliable; I compare it to
having a spare tire in the trunk of your car that you know leaks air, will
it be there when you need it??

I have yet to see any explanation, or cure, for SR's restore points becoming
corrupted. SR has failed me enough times that I have disabled it and gone to
ERUNT for registry backups and keep an updated image of my system drive in
case of emergency.

FWIW, JAX
