Restore point for system question

Hi

Yes, restore points are created automatically. To use them, go to:

Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Ok, I did go there and it shows me two of my drives and I click on them
and nothing happens. I DO NOT have checked where it says, don't save
system restore points. Any ideas? Is there a step I am missing?

If you go where I indicated and click on 'OK' you should see a calendar with
various checkpoints.

But this says you can create your own Restore Points ie if you are making a
big change to your system you could presumably create a System Restore point
just beforehand.

Hi David,

By default System Restore creates an automatic restore point every 24
hours. Automatic restore points are only created during idle time; for
example, when there is no mouse, keyboard, or disk i/o activity.

Open System Restore and look at the calendar for bold dates. Each bold
date indicates that there's at least one restore point for that day.
