Restore point calendar

I want to go back to an earlier restore point, but there is only one in
August the 13th, when I click on previus month nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me how I can get back to a July restore point.

If it doesn't show on the restore calendar, the restore points for
July have been overwritten or did not exist. You can't go back to a
restore date that doesn't exist.

Have you run disk cleanup lately and chosen to delete restore points?
That will delete all but the most recent one.

Restore points are intended for a limited time and older ones get
dropped when space fills up. Also some installations of updates remove
earlier points so there is no danger of getting things in a tangle. In
particular if you install SP2 it generates an enormous RP - you would
have to go back to that, removing SP2
