I just Transfered all my operating files, in fact all the files from my old
9GB hard drive to a new 250GB hard drive and now my restore point is not
functioning. That is not the only thing not working, but I will start there.
I am operating Windows XP.

System Information: Windows NT 5.1 Version 5.1.2600.2180
Error signature: AppNameirstrui.exe modname:srrstr.ddl
offset:00009826 Signature:feef04bd

More detail, please.
Such as:
1) What method/program did you use for the "Transfer"?
2) Exactly what about System Restore is not Functioning?
A) Can't use OLD Restore Points?
B) System Restore won't Start/Run/Open?
C) Can't CREATE a NEW Point?
D) Other? [Describe problem; that is, what are you trying to do, that you
can't accomplish.]
3) "That is not the only thing not working......" may hold clues to the
problem.
Elaborate on the other things as well.

OK. I try to start Restore point from the START Menu and it goes immediately
to the message posted at the bottom of my priginal reply.

I also transfered using the disk that came with my new Western Digital hard
drive.

Ohter problems are more office related, and apparently fixed.

Thanks.

If you are having other problem, than I agree with the reinstall of XP.
