When trying to restore some files, I encountered a
problem. Each time I try a restore point, the computer
goes through the whole procedure, and after the reboot
comes up with the message: "Restore incomplete". I've
tried a restore with a bunch of different restore points,
but get the same message. I've also tried it in safe
mode. Has anyone had a similar problem or have
suggestions on how to recover my files?? Thanks a lot!!

Kristin;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

So is there no way to get my files back? They are really
important! Thanks for the help though!

Kristin;
If system Restore is corrupted, there is not much you can do other
than turn it Off/On to fix it.
Why exactly do you need to System Restore?
