Restart and System Tray

I have a weird bug that is just iritating. I have
Windows XP PRO and I have it set to auto login. When I
restart it does log me in and brings up my desktop. When
it does only a couple of my system tray apps show up. I
see their splash screens so I know they are running but
they don't show up. And no they aren't hidden by the
little chevron. To fix it all I have to do is log out
and back in. When I do they show up.

That just recently started happening to me too. It's annoying because it
makes me doubt that my antivirus software is running. So, like you I log in
and out a couple times to get them loaded. I hope someone tells us what's
going on ASAP because it's very annoying! I've checked the MSCONFIG, ran a
scan, defrag etc and none of that seems to matter. The weird part is mine
will load ok sometimes then next time the programs are gone again in the sys
tray apps.
