I'm looking for a simple program to resize scanned documents to letter size.
All my scanned documents are too large for inclusion in e-mails.

Fred..... your scanner produces an image file, although we read it as
text. Run your OCR software on it to convert it to text and they will
be much smaller.

Check to see if you have this option in your system. Right-click on the
picture file (in Windows Explorer, or whatever), click Send To, then Mail
Recipient. You can then click a button which will automatically resize the
selected photo(s) for emailing.

FastStone Image Viewer has a terrific feature that makes re-sizing and
e-mailing pictures a snap. Google for it.
