I know this sounds so elementary, but how is it possible to resize the columns on my 'all programs' menu? I now have 3 columns, and cannot read all the programs in the 3rd column. The 'drag the column' attempt won't work. I'm running XP.
Many thanks!

I'm on a 2000 machine ATM; however, this setting should be in XP. Right
click on your task bar and select properties. Click the Advanced tab. In
the Start Menu Settings check Scroll the Program Menu. This will cause all
programs to have only a single column which you can scroll up and down in.

The other thing you could do is to right-click on the Start Button and
select Open. Then start organizing. Group like programs together.
Examples are Office Apps will contain all of the MS Office Apps and other
office type applications you use. Games will contain all of your games.
Multimedia will contain all of your video/audio players. Doing this will
not only make your Start Menu smaller, but will make it easier to find
things without searching like mad through a huge list of programs.
