Resize fields in a form

I've just started using Access 2007. I want to resize a few fields in my
forms so that I can place them side by side, while other fields will take up
the whole width of the form.

Obviously I knew how to do this in 2000 and 2003, but when I try now, it
tries to resize ALL the fields in my form. I'm sure this must be a quick
easy fix, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

I searched the help files and I did a quick search here but couldn't seem to
find an answer.

In form design view, select the controls in question, got to the Arrange tab
and click on Remove. I think you can also right click and select Remove also
but I don't have A2007 here so I can't say for sure.
