Resize arrow missing

For years I've expected to scroll the mouse pointer over the edge of a
window and see the pointer change to a "double arrow" for resizing.
Recently, the double arrow has disappeared, though, if I carefully place the
point of the normal arrow on the window outline, I can still resize the
window.

Any idea of what has changed?

Windows XP Pro
IE 6
Office XP

Why not ask in an XP group?

This is what I would start with in Win98 (XP may be similar)
Control Panel-Mouse-Pointers and change the relevant Resize pointers.

Same problem - only app this function is missing in is IE.

Will check XP group

This problem started on my XP last week. Only happens with IE. As you move the mouse pointer to the edges of the Window, the arrow does not change to your selected resize pointer. However it works on any other application - I even downloaded Netscape and it works with it

If any one finds the solution can you PLEASE PLEASE post it here

Thank you much !

Repair IE.

Add/Remove programs/MS/IE repair....
