resetting list

Can anyone help us on the post regarding the reset list?

When I try to reset the newsgroups list in Outlook Express 6 it hangs at
around the same number - 81000. I know there are more groups in the list
because another reader I use - Grabit - has just downloaded much more very
smoothly.
How can I fix this please?

Mine does the same thing, then it says error 501 not found
 
Setup msnews.microsoft.com using Outlook Express
(Tools/Accounts/news> new)
