I use outlook 2003 and need to change my settings to enable all deleted items
from the Deleted items folder to go to the Recycle Bin instead of being
permanently deleted

You cannot do that, your OL data/msgs are contained within a data file and
are not visible to win
You can reset your Deleted Items folder to not empty (delete) when you exit
OL
PS storing 'stuff' in the deleted folder is not reccomended - have you
looked at the archive options?

DL, Thanks for your input. However, this has only started happening, which
is why I am looking for a way to reset it. Previously, I would right click
on an email in Inbox or elsewhere and select delete, which would then place
it into the Deleted Items folder. I would then go into tools and hit Empty
"Deleted items" folder. This would always work but if I made a mistake and
wanted to retireve my email I would always find it in the Recycle Bin. So,
any other ideas? Rgds

If your Deleted Folder is automatically emptied, on exiting OL, under OL
Tools>Options>Other untick 'empty the deleted......'
