G Guest Feb 2, 2006 #1 I have a picture as the Desktop Background, and the word "RESET" appears over the picture. Help!
G Guest Feb 2, 2006 #2 I would recommend checking your display properties, click on the desktop , click on customize desktop. Click on the web tab , nothing should be ticked, unless you use Active desktop style content. Check your pc for spyware / viruses , You can download the neccessary tools here: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/downloads/default.mspx Also check add /remove programs in control panel for any recently added programs , it's possible that a program may have added this as a function.

K Kelly Feb 2, 2006 #3 Hi David, Depends on many issues. Do a search for desktop.html if it appears, delete it. From there: Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and HijackThis: http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html Note: Update the first two programs, once installed, before running. -- All the Best, Kelly (MS-MVP/DTS&XP) Taskbar Repair Tool http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm

G Guest Feb 3, 2006 #4 Thank you. That fixed the problem. It was my daughters AOL AIM! Best wish, and thanks again.
