Reset/Clear Suggested Names

I like to use the 'suggest names in to, cc, and bcc fields' feature, but the
large number of suggested names has become unwieldy. I would like to
continue to use this feature, but I would like to reset/clear the name
suggestions and start over.

Similarly, I would like to reset/clear the previously searched words in the
"Look For" drop-down menu on the Find feature.

How can this be done? Thank you for any help than may be offered. Sanford
 
For suggested names feature, you just have to delete the .NK2 file while
Outlook is closed (i am assuming you are running the latest and greatest
version of Outlook).
 
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. If your autocomplete list contains only a single entry, use the
directions here:

To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

Thank you neo and Mr. Valentine. That worked very well. To remove
individual entries from the autocomplete cache of suggested 'to,cc,bcc'
names, it was necessary for me to do a Control-Delete. Regedit for the MRUs
worked like a charm. Thanks again. Sanford
