Require CTRL+ALT+DEL in Workgroup

I am trying to require users to use CTRL+ALT+DEL when
logging on. The help in USERS indicates that this is a
feature available on the USERS advanced tab, for Domain
computers, and the Advanced tab isn't available in my
Workgroup environment.

The funny thing is that when I had initially set up the
system it was requiring CTRL+ALT+DEL, but after a
reinstall, I don't seem to be able to get it working.

XP Pro SP1

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanx
Joe

Hi, Joe -

All you have to do is

1. Click Start --> Control Panel --> User Accounts.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. In the Secure logon section, select or clear
the 'Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete' check box.

Hope this helps!

The Advanced tab isn't available, I suppose because I'm in
a Workgroup as opposed to a Domain. The Help files
specifically start "in a networked Domain"

You should still be able to use the login dialog. I don't have one in front
of me but I believe it's in the users control panel and is called something
like "use friendly login UI". Uncheck it.

I am using the logon dialog, but the dialog displays
without users needing to press CTRL+ALT+DEL.
