Steps to reproduce:

* Reboot
* Open an Explorer window
* Navigate to a directory with around 1500 image files, set to
thumbnail view
* Navigate around, returning to that directory a few times
* Observe Explorer process size (VM size in Task Manager) bloat to
several hundred meg
* Observe that closing all open Explorer windows doesn't return the
process to its original,
20-odd-meg size.

I have asked over and over again about the problems I have with Windows
Explorer and the swap file.

Microsoft want payment for licence but refuse any support.

Becuase they have no idea how to solve this problem.

Most people here deny that the problem exist.

As I use explorer to clean my disks I got a lot of poblem erasing more than
600 files at the samr time.
I mark files but explorer change it so wrong files are moved or erased.
If I try to mark one file of folder, several files and folder are marked.

I have no control over which file and folders to mark and this really make
explorer TOTALLY useless and dangerous to use. I need to reboot computer
every 15 minutes because XP pro stops to respond. I have a new computer
without reset.

Only Microsoft can treat costumers this bad. DOWN WITH MICROSOFT.

I have paid for licence and I want support for those money. And a workibng
copy of XP but that will never happen.

I know several users that have problems with windows explorer and swapfile.

There is no other way than bring it up here over and over again every day
until MS solve all bugs in latest ver of XP pro.
