Hello,

I have downloaded a tool which uses Reporter.Net PDF
libraries(RSF.dll). Can any one tell me whether this tool is an open source
or not?

Thanks,
Sushi

Hi,

I already had downloaded the tool. What I wanted to ask is if Report.Net
libraries are open source. i.e. Can I use those libraries in my project
without any licensing issues.

Thanks,
Sushi

I don't mean to be obtuse... but why don't you ask the manufacturer of the
software for information about the license? That's surely more effective
than asking a community site full of diverse professionals who may never
have used the software in question.

Do you see what I mean?

It's not quite that simple. According to the CodeProject article
Mohamed cites, at one time, it was on SourgeForge.net, impling it's
open-source. However, it now seems to have faded into the ether.

that's the problem with open source. Just because someone uploaded source,
that doesn't mean that they have the right to upload source.
Nearly no one is willing to idemnify the recipient against law suits.

I was not able to find Reporter.net on sourceforge by otto mayor (I varied
the search criteria many times, both in sourceforge and in msn search).
This person is difficult to fnd
