report problem

Good morning,

I think I have confused myself. I am having a problem with duplication. I
have a database listing cases on a monthly basis. I am trying to create a
report using 2 tables tblElements, tblCountyName (which are 70). My report
shows

County Element Finding
Cal Relationship 6
Cal Relationship 6
Cal Relationship 6
Ibe Relationship 6

What I want to do is to have the report list CountyName only once (there
may be 4 cases from the same county in one month) for each month and count
the number of cases,findings, elements, etc. for each month.

Hi. Lou.
If I understand this correcly, What you are showing is the reportand you
wish to hide the repeated listing of the County.
What you can do is open the report in desing view and for the county textbox
set the hide duplicates property to yes.
That should do it.
