Access 2002 report: Would like the labels for the data in the report to be
rotated 90 deg. Tried help be no banana. Anyone got any ideas? TIA

Copied a couple of mdb files from lebans.com but unable to open them:
unzipped the files to a directory
clicked on that file
access 2002 says file is on a untrusted site ... copy the file to ur machine
...

So what did I do wrong? TIA

Ted,
Not sure, but did you try opening Access first, then manually finding and opening the
..mdb?
Make sure your Access is "naked"... no security workgroup, and
make sure your Tools/Macro/Security is set to Low.
(Not sure if 2002 has that option... but it can be a 2003 issue... so give a try)

I've never had any problems with Stephen's files.

Also, this post is pretty old, so perhaps if that doesn't work... try a New post on
just that problem.

I think I have seen this error when the ZIP file is not really unzipped but
sitting in one of Win XP's zipped folders and as you said, the user tries to
launch Access from the zipped MDB.

Had to go to the properties of the file & unblock.

New problem I downloaded rotatelabel.zip & installed it on our pc.
Followed the instructions in accrotext.mdb for installing the above but when
I click on it access says 'I cant find ... '. Where did I go wrong? TIA
Running access 2002 & winxp.

Ted I'm not a mind reader. "I can't find...." is not enough to go on. What
is the entire error message? Are you able to get the sample form in the MDB
you downloaded to work?

Ok yes the sample db does work but my db does not work. The msg I get is:
'the expression you entered has a function name that Microsoft access cant
find'.
I downloaded 'rotatelabel.zip' & executed the setup which said installed ok.
I find modules in the sample that are not in my db. Looks like I didn't
install =fRotext() or is it =fRotextEMF().
Any ideas? TIA
