Hi all,

I have a report which generates invoices. It works fine except that after
each invoice there is a blank page. Removing the "force new page" option
has no effect.

Any ideas?

Thanks again,

Danny

Could be too big (e.g. too wide) to fit on one page - if the report width is
wider than it needs to be to hold all the controls, and this make it wider
than the page, it will add a blank page.

This typically happens if the Report is larger (even a tiny smidgen
larger) than the printable area of the page. Check the paper size and
margins in File... Page Setup, and make sure that the report grid is
no bigger. Typically 1" margins give you a printable area of 9" x
6.5"; if any report objects, or even the grid background, extends even
a hundredth of an inch into these margins you'll get a blank page (as
it tries to print that 9" x 0.01" area of whitespace).

Thanks folks I'll give it a go.

Hmm I have changed the page size to A4 (the margins are all one inch) but
the problem remains. Experiment suggests that the page is too wide. I have
tried placing the mouse at the edge of the page and dragging (as it says
under help) but it refuses to budge

at a loss :-(

Make sure you don't have some control (a Line is the usual offender
for me) that extends out past the margin. The border won't shrink
unless you first shrink or move the line or other control.
