I just want to say that how few people that asked a question and are given
answer, good or bad, reply with 'Thanks, it worked' or something that would
indicate if the given answer helped at all. How many times I have given an
answer that I taught to be a good answer and then not know if it helped
anyone..

I agree with your thoughts about this. They probably just don't think about
it.

You are right. You deserve an answer and a thanks for things that work. Its
a small price to pay for the good advice (free) that is given here. You will
always get a reply or report from me.

Thank you MrB.

You are so right. I don't care about thank yous but I really would like to
know if an answer worked or not. So many times I even wonder if the person
who asked the question even came back to look for the answer.

Most can't even find their way back to their post anyway.
If they do find their way back, then I will give a more in-depth answer.

I would always give a *thank you* even if the solution suggested for the
question I posted hasn't worked.
Good manners cost nothing. I often lurk in the group, and appreciate the
help that is given by the *experts* in here, they've saved my bacon on
many occasion without even realising it.
So, a big thanks to all who volunteer their services.

Tawny.
