when I click reply on a windows mail, the from address uses my gmail address
how do I make it use my windows address without changing it each time

I'm not sure what you mean by "windows address"... but if you want to change
which email account is the default, go to Tools - Accounts
click on the account, and click on Set as Default

by windows address I mean the one I got from my internet provider.
I have that address set as my default but when I hit reply on an email sent
to that addy, it comes up with my gmail addy to reply. Im not sure if you
can understand, this is hard to explain lol
thank-you for your

You can change the email address to whatever you want:
Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties.

In your reply click on the wrong From account and select the one you want
from the dropdown list.

Hey I know what Bobbie means! He's not crazy... I have the same problem!

When you send an email from outlook you are hoping to maks the email of the
provider. So when it arrives in the recipients email box they see where it
came from ( Whatever your email is in outlook )

And ... where to reply to ( Whatever your email is ion outlook) Arrr!

Thats where it goes wrong it shows where you recieved it from but the
reply-to address is showing your provider NOT your outlook email address

I think this is a problem with 2007 Outlook and perhaps there is some
setting to change but I'm not hopeful. the closest I have got is to go to the
email provider settings add your outlook email address on there and set it as
default and it shows:

e.g (e-mail address removed) on behalf of ( your outlook email)
