I put a question up last week about problems I am having since I installed a
legal version of Windows XP. A lady responded to me with a link to help fix
my problem. But her 2 replies are mssing out of my thread. I'm hoping she can
respond to this with that link again. It was from the Microsoft site and I
think it was to fix my register. I unfortunately didn't take a note of her
name - sorry.

If you cant' find a post search for it on your name as author in the
newsgroup: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general using Google Groups Advanced
Search.

Hey Rock
That's great. Thank you so much. I'm really impressed!

Also note that you are using the awful web-based interface to participate in
this newsgroup. It's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method there
is, and problems finding things there are common. Do yourself a favor and
switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows.

Thanks for the tip Ken. I'll print the instructions out and do it as soon as
I have fixed up my original problem. Not having much luck there at all.
