Create a rule using reply using a template option.

Thanks Dianne.
Iam looking at office 2003 when I write this now but it still needs to apply
to office XP.
if I start a new rule from a template I only see a list of templates that
move messages etc. Are ther more templates available?

If I start an new blank rule I dont have any options to reply .

TIA again
willo

Blank Rule, check when they arrive, no conditions (you want to apply it to
all within the folder), reply using a specific template (which you created
before you began the rule). Don't enable the rule! You don't want to use it
on messages as the arrive - everyone who sends you a message will get a
reply. If you have the folder selected when you began the rule, you can use
the run now option when you are finished, if not, you can run it at any time
on any folder.

To create a template when you use word as your editor:
Actions, New mail using, Outlook(HTML). If you need plain text, change it
using the format menu after opening the Outlook editor. Enter the boiler
plate text you want to use and File, Save as, choose template.
