Replacing a picture with another one when cicking on it or another

I'm looking for a way to replace a picture with another picture when clicking
on the it (and only when clicking on it and not when clicking somewhere else
in the presentation). Accordingly I also want to be able to change picture A
for picture B when clicking on another picture or item in the presentation.
For example: Picture A is shown, when cicking on it Picture B is shown
instead. If you then click on Picture B, Picture C will be shown instead. If
you then click on Picture C, Picture A shall be shown again and so on ... you
should be able to do this endlessly.
Any ideas or links to tutorials / HowTos?

Using "triggers" will allow you to click on one object to create an animation
(appear) of another. You will find Triggers in your animation's timing
options.
