Please help.... placing a new cd or dvd in either my dvd rom or my dvd-rw is not being refreshed and i can still see the directory of a previous cd even it is already not there.
I have this exact same problem, just started last night. Brand new pc, installed XP yesterday, no problems then. I can access most cd/dvd's, but sometimes it still looks for the disk that was in the drive previously. Both drives (sony dvd-rw & jvc dvd-rom) do the same thing.
