Replace system files

Hi All,

Does anybody know what method can be used to replace XPE system files? What
about files that are in use?

use DUA!
there you can replace files during reboot..

I will need to do this without using DUA. Sorry for not mentioning this from
the first time. Basically, I want to build a tool that will replace DUA.

Adrian,

Take a look at the tool inuse.exe: http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/inuse-o.asp
Although it may not work on XPe becuase of the lack of WFP (or make sure the SFC primitives is in your image).

If you develop your own app, llok at the MoveFileEx API (MOVEFILE_DELAY_UNTIL_REBOOT flag).
