replace smss.exe on NTSF drive from virus

I am being told by pcpitstop that my smss.exe has Dalbug/Ladex worm. I
is on a NTSF windows xp machine. None of my virus software detects.
Size is slightly larger than it is supposed to be. I can not turn of
the smss service in order to write over file. I can not get access t
drive because it is a NTSF when I boot to dos. How do I replace file
