Repeated crash/re-start

Have bought new machine with OEM Windows XP Home. After
three returns to supplier problem unresolved. Same message
every time as follows:

Can anyone help please?

What is your computer doing when it crashes?
How often does this happen?
Do the crashes appear to be random?

Empty the temporary internet files folder and see if it comes up again.
