There is an article in our newspaper today stating that
Microsoft warned customers about unusually serious
problems with its windows software.that could let
eavesdroppers break into our computers. It says to apply
a repairing patch.I went to microsofts web site and I
couldn't find any info. about that. Could someone tell me
anything aboout it anf how to apply the repairing patch?

Visit the Microsoft Widows Update website and check for the
availability of Critical Updates, then install them.

From the page above you can download the update. I'd stay away form
WinUpdate, since so many people are using it right now, it seems a bit
flakey to me, almost like it was being DoSed at times. Before running
the patch, close out of any programs that are running, disconnect for
the internet, and disable your AV. Then run the patch. Your computer
will reboot after you hit the finish button.
