Good morning.
I've got a pc that will not boot up. I get a message saying that windows
cannot start because c:\windows\system32\config\system is missing or
corrupt.
It then says that I can try and repair it by booting up with the windows
cdrom and selecting R for repair. So, I do that and I get to the the
c:\windows prompt but I do not know how to "repair" windows. What do I do
at this point? If it's going to be too difficult should I just put the good
ghost image back on the pc?
Thanks.

The prescribed MS fix will be much more difficult than use the ghost image
that you have made. Go with the ghost image , that is what it is for. JJ
