I have a database in Access 2000 on a server that 50 or
so people use. In the last week, several times a day,
when people log on, they receive an error asking them to
repair the database. I have to bring it to my desktop,
repair it and put it back to the server. Any ideas on
what could be causing this?

Perhaps you need to check the disk using Scandisk or some such utility. That
could be one option.

You shouldn't need to bring it to your desktop. You should be able to
repair it on the server.

First thing I'd find out is what has changed in the last week.
Server? Service Pack? New workstation?
