I have an Access 2000 Database that is corrupt. I cannot open it up.
Actually, it's not mine. I'm helping someone with theirs.

Are there any free or for purchase utility tools that I can use to repair
this Access 2000 database? At the moment, I cannot do anything with it.
Please, if there are any utility tools that I can use, free or to buy, to
repair this database, let me know where I can get them from. There are a lot
of critical data in this database and I need to repair it to get it up and
running asap.

Thanks in advance,

Dar

Good luck. Not all corruption is repairable. This database may be
toast.

See

for some suggestions about preventing and repairing corruption, and
links to repair services.

I would strongly suggest upgrading to 2002(XP) or 2003; in my
experience they're much more stable and resist corruption better than
2000.
