Reote Procedure Call

Keep getting following message:-

Windows must restart because Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
terminated Unexpectidly.

This authorised by NT Authority\ System

Have re-installed XP Pro, then repaired XP Pro via
installation disc all to no avail. Seems worse in E-Mail
notably dial up modem rather than the broadband
connection.

Appreciate any ideas
