Renaming notes

Is there any way to rename a note from say "Note3" to "Hours of
Operation"?

Normally, I'd say that you should be able to change the first line of the
note to whatever you want its new name to be, since that's how new notes get
named. However, some experimenting shows that when I change the first line
to some other string, the note appears momentarily with the new name, then
reverts to the original name. I change note names frequently, but always
through my PDA (which has a rename function for its notes), which I then
synchronize with Outlook. Those changes stick. So, the bottom line is that
I don't know how to do that. You could create a new note whose first line
is "Hours of Operation", then open the old name and use copy/paste to copy
the contents of the old note to the new, then delete the old note. The
effect would be what you want, but it's more laborious.

changing the first line should rename it.

I haven't had the PDA problems Brian described - so try it!

I thought it was the PDA that eliminated the problem for me, since it has a
rename function, but it both helped and hindered the situation.
