Renaming DLLs while the program is running

OS: Windows XP
Hi,

While we are running a program, we are able rename the dlls and exe
associated with that program. Windows XP is creating a tenporary folder and
saving these renamed dlls in that location. We do not get any error message
while we try to rename or delete.

I have to test a scenario where I will need to find out if the dlls are
being unloaded correctly at the end of the program. How will I check this if
the dlls can be renamed while the program is even running?
