Renaming a W2k Domain

Hi Folks,
Can anybody point me in the way of a white paper on the
processes and consequences of trying to rename a W2k
domain. Or if anybody has tried the same and succeded or
failed, info would be greatly appreciated

Renaming the domain? You can't in W2k as far as I know, although if you
dcpromo to demote a DC you can change *its* name.
