renaming a component

I added some custom components to my database.
Basically they were components imported from .reg files.
I don't like the names I gave them. I cant seem to rename them or even
delete them.
How do you delete a component in the database?

You can delete components from database using CDM if you launch it in an exclusive mode.
Just don't have any other XPe ToolKit applications (TD, CD) running when you launch the CDM.

Open "Component Database Manager" in exclusive mode (aka while Target
Designer is not running). Click the "component" tab. Scroll through the list
of components and locate the undesired component. Highlight the component
and click "Delete Component". If "Delete Component" is greyed out triple
check that no other tools are open.
