Just a q to know if anybody has an idea of a good design solution for this:

As a result of needing to change some login id's in Netware (don't ask...)
some users will get new login id's. by default this will give them a new
desktop profile on their machine the first time they log in, thus losing
their settings. i have enough users that i REALLY don't want to have to run
them through exporting settings via the wizard, or getting the sys admins to
do it. Is the USMT command toolset able to do this or is there another way?
I'm not changing over machines, they keep their machine, they simply need new
login id's.

Any good ideas would be very greatly received!!!

Try this:
- Get the new user to log on.
- Reboot the machine.
- Log on as admin.
- Control Panel / System / Advanced / User Profiles
- Select the old user's name, then click "copy" and select the
new user's profile folder as a destination.

Post again if you need more explicit instructions.
