I have been trying to rename a table, but when I do, it
deletes all relationships. Is there a way to change the
name without deleting/changing the relationships between
the tables?

Short answer, no, I don't believe you can do that without the backup
work of changing where you used the table/relationship...
Sorry!

Thanks for your response.

This particular database was set-up by someone else. Now
my question is this: how do I know how to set it back up
exactly the way it was set-up before?

Well, the one way would be to check the queries in Design mode and se
what tables show up empty, because of an incorrect name, if you se
them, you can rename the ones changed back to what they are...OR yo
can just use the new name and recreate the queries but I'd do th
change back thing as then any forms/reports that are based on thos
tables would be set back to right again.

Sounds like a chore, depends on how many places those tables wer
used.
Good luck Brandy,
