Rename Sheet Event

When we rename a sheet Excel crashes. What event is triggered when a sheet
is renamed.

No events are fired. I tested the change, right_click, double_click.

What are you trying to name it? History and *!/?\ are barred characters

Try unchecking any add-ins... (Tools>add-ins...)

Try moving you Excel.xlb file out of it's current location and see if that
sorts it. (Remember to close and re-open Excel each time you do something)

Lastly, try detect and repair under the help menu

Just some more questions...

If you rename a sheet in a brand new test workbook, does excel crash?

Is the crashing limited to a single worksheet in a single workbook?

If it's just a single worksheet or just a single workbook, maybe it's not
excel--maybe the workbook/worksheet is corrupted.

You may want to start rebuilding that worksheet and replace it with a new copy.
(Or rebuild the whole workbook if it's all the worksheets in that workbook.)
