Hi:

I would like information on how to rename some 50 or so files from:

101 to 155 (*.jpg) to 001 to 055.

How do I do this.

Thanks in advance

Hi King,

Us CTRL-A to select all the jpg files in the folder.
Right click on the first file and rename it to 00.jpg
The file names will look like this:
00.jpg - 00(1).jpg - 00(2).jpg and so on.
The only down side to this is the ( )...

Another option would be to use the rename feature in
Irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com/

Infanview is a powerful imaging tool, and it comes
very highly recommend around here. I have been
using it for years. Oh, and it's FREE.
I think you will like it.

1-4a Rename (from the screen shoots it looks like this ones can take
sub-folders as well):
