I know there is an easy way to do it, but I forgot. How do you rename
drives (HD, DVD, CD-RW, etc.) to different letters (c,d,e,f,...)???

Thanks

Hi

You may be able to change them via Disk Management:

Start>Run - then type in "diskmgmt.msc" - without the quotes.

Thanks, but that dosen't work (or at least I am not seeing something). Any
other ideas?

Hi

You don't get the option to 'Change drive letters and paths...' if you right click on the drives? If not you may have to purchase a partition program, such as Partition Magic from www.powerquest You could try opening the Help in Disk Management and then search for either 'letter' or 'Diskpart' - without the quotes. Diskpart is a command line utility.
