Rename Back-End Split

I did a split now I want to rename my back-end but when I do I get a "Could not find file" message.

Once you rename the back-end, you need to relink the front-end.

You can use the Linked Table Manager (under Tools | Add-ins in Access 97,
and under Tools | Database Utilities in Access 2003: sorry, but I can't
remember which of those two locations it's in in the other versions), or you
can use VBA code such as what's at

Douglas thank you for your response, when I open my "Link Table Manager" is empty any other suggestions?
 
Are you opening it in the front-end or the back-end? It has to be done from
the front-end.
